Tuesday Taggers & Just Magnolia Challenge 48

This weeks Tuesday Taggers challenge is sponsored by The Craft Barn ''Its a Bugs Life'', Perfect excuse i thought to bring out my favourite Magnolia stamp and have a go with my new ProMarkers. I combined the theme with the sketch from Just Magnolia, but the sketch went slightly wrong as the flowers i wanted to use didn't look right in the sketches position so i had to modify it a little! only a little tho, hope its ok.

Had abit of time today to play with my new ProMarkers and i must say i am really enjoying them. Oops!!!

Papers: Papermania (old old floral stack i found in the bottom of a drawer)
Ribbon: From local craft shop, think it was papermania not sure
Image: Hobby art stamps (got it on the weekend at the Harrogate show from Butterfly Kisses)

Mojo Monday Challenge 131

This weeks Mojo Monday Challenge is such an ace sketch. This is also my first try at using Pro-Markers. I think it came out ok, but i need a lot more practice at blending and shading. This card also fits in nicely with this weeks Passion for ProMarkers challenge of ''Spring, with an animal''!! My first entry so be gentle on me.

E-Bay/paypal Sellers Warning

Well i have just been bitten by e-bay and paypal. Get proof of postage it says to cover yourself for lost post - this is not the case, if you dont pay extra and get a tracking number you are up the creek without a paddle and absolutely nothing you can do to stop your buyer getting their money refunded leaving you out of pocket, in my case it is £40 plus e-bay fees plus paypal fees.

Dont make the mistake i did thinking that a proof of postage receipt is all you need to stop your customer getting their cash back if the item goes AWOL. Get that tracking number!!!

Just Magnolia Challenge 45 & Mothersday Card & Patch

Sleepiest cat ever!! He had been out all night and all morning then appeared mid afternoon yesterday barely able to keep his eyes open, I had to make the bed so he would go to sleep!! Spoiled rotten or what!!!

This weeks challenge at Just Magnolia is to follow a tutorial for a tent card, i adapted it to make it in my eyes easier but with the same result. Shimmer sprayed some flowers from Crafty Feeling and added some card candy. Coloured with Prisma pencils and hand sewn background.

Deep Edge Daisy Fan Tutorial

I have been patiently waiting for a few people who said they would do a tutorial on how to make the Martha Stewart TSV Deep Edge Daisy Boarder Punch into a chain of flowers, nothing as yet has actually appeared so i decided to work it out for myself and it is amazingly simple. The edges are a bit ragged on my example but i was working it out on cheap copy paper that didn't cut so well.

Cut the length what ever you want it at, the depth of the paper is the key, so simple you will kick yourselves, cut it 2 1/2 inch deep. Happy punching!!
